Earth Day is an annual event, celebrated on April 22, on which events are held worldwide to demonstrate support for environmental protection.
First celebrated in 1970, and is now coordinated globally by the Earth Day Network, and celebrated in more than 192 countries each year.
We are also part of this Event and Celebrate it on our school level.

Here in our school our Principal Rajiv Upadhyay & Vice-Principal H S Charan flag the awareness rally, organised by Scout and Guides of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Jaswantpura Jalore (Raj.).

Earth Day is the first holy day which transcends all national borders, yet preserves all geographical integrities, spans mountains and oceans and time belts, and yet brings people all over the world into one resonating accord, is devoted to the preservation of the harmony in nature and yet draws upon the triumphs of technology, the measurement of time, and instantaneous communication through space.

  1. Earth Day is a great excuse for a virtual party. You can organize a virtual earth day celebration party at your workplace and teach your employees about the 3Rs — recycling, reducing, and reusing to protect our planet Earth.
